Welcome from Paul Johnson

Welcome!

Yes, the big news is that, after two years, the race is moving to Minneapolis where more women will be able to participate. We have been thrilled to share the empowering TRIumph and joy we have witnessed at Baker Park! There has been a strong vibe of support and camaraderie as women of all ages and abilities have come together to share the challenge of triathlon. We know that will carry over to Minneapolis and continue to grow in a big way.

As always, a huge thanks to our super-enthusiastic volunteers who do an amazing job making the day so enjoyable for everyone. Whatever races you do this year, be sure to never leave until you thank a volunteer.

Join us in 2010 at Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis to celebrate the strength in all women - and bring your friends!

Athlete Quote:

This was a wonderful event. The YWCA did a great job! My son who volunteered is talking about doing it again next year and the friend that I did this with is also talking about next year (and we're going to try to get more friends involved). It was such a positive experience for all of us! Thanks so much for all the hard work that you and the Y did. It was my first Tri, but it won't be my last! I'm looking forward to next year
