Athlete Quote:

For me the best thing about the tri was your volunteers. I don't know how you did it but EVERY ONE of them was helpful, nice, cheerful, positive and the list continues. I have never been at any other event (other tris, runs, etc.) where the volunteers were of such a high caliber. For example there was one young lady out on Highway 24 - she was blocking the Baker Park maintenance road - who was cheering as loudly and enthusiastically when I went by - mid to back of the pack - as she probably did for the first rider and I am sure she was just as loud and enthusiastic for the last. It was like that during the entire event.

All I can say is how ever you found these folks and whatever you did keep it up. It really is (for me at least) the volunteers who help me determine if a race is worth doing again and all I can say is I'll be back next year. Please extend my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all the volunteers - they rock!
