*Please note: The race venue will be Lake Nokomis (not Lake Calhoun as originally planned). While many in Minneapolis were eager to see the race at Calhoun, traffic and other logistics proved too difficult. We thank the Minneapolis Park Board for looking so extensively into the option. Onward to Lake Nokomis which is a terrific venue with proven course options. We remain thrilled to bring the race home to Minneapolis. Join us on Minneapolis' beautiful lakes, parkways and river road!

When you register, you will also be able to:
- Choose to support the YWCA with a donation. Race proceeds benefit the Latino and Native American youth in the
YWCA Strong Fast Fit program,

race communications!
- Tell us something special about you! You might hear it at the finish line. Don't be shy!

*USA Triathlon Membership
Please note that USA Triathlon (USAT) determines your age by how old you are at the end of the calendar year.
At USAT sanctioned events, all adult (18+) participants of USAT sanctioned events must have an annual USAT membership ($39)
or a one-day license ($10). The one-day license is included in the race registration fee. Youth 14-17 must have an annual membership ($5)
annual membership which is included in the registration fee. At packet pickup, all annual members will be refunded $10 (must show proof of
membership and ID). Youth that did not previously have an annual membership will be refunded $5. If you will be participating in four or
more USAT sanctioned races in one year, we encourage you to join USA Triathlon. Check out USA Triathlon's web page
(usatriathlon.org) for information on membership and sanctioning.
I can't believe how well run and energizing the event was. Everything flowed as though you'd done it 10 times in the past.
I loved the way the swimmers started, how the transition area was organized, the great orange finish line - everything was so inspirational and
exciting.
So next year I plan on being one of the first to sign up and I've already recruited at least 6 other women who are now looking
forward to their first triathlon. Again, great job on putting together an event I'll remember all my life. I feel more energized and fit
than I have in 15 years. I'm wearing my necklace with pride!
